The day has finally come...can't say it really feels like it still. Maybe it's just me. But it is indeed a day to be happy, to spend with family, friends, loved ones.

We stayed up much too late last night and had to wake up at eight thirty. I groaned getting up until recollecting in my mind what day it really was. In a rush, we ran downstairs to tear open our gifts. We got popcorn and soda machines for our rooms! :la: We also got snuggies, rare coins, a speaker for my iPod touch, and a Celebration Day CD/DVD package! :squee: We then drove up to Sharies to meet my aunt, uncle, and grandma for breakfast, as a tradition we do each year. We love the place, the portions are huge, the food is amazing, and their pie...gotta love their pie. As the tradition goes, I order the largest thing on the menu:The twelve ounce T-bone steak along with stuffed hashbrowns, eggs, toast, and hot chocolate. My aunt and uncle surprise us with presents...I sure wasn't expecting the thing I found inside: A huge Led Zeppelin book: Get The Led Out. I didn't even know this book existed! It was beautiful...along with it came one hundred dollars for each of us which we plan to spend at the mall for gifts for our parents, both of their birthdays come at the end of this month. :)

After we stuff our faces, we go to see The Hobbit. I loved it, even not seeing one LOTR movie or reading one book before this...( yes, you can smack me now. ) Believe me, I want to though, and I will. ;)

I spent the rest of today recovering from that meal...then eating two sandwiches the second I did. Then I took a nap, woke up, ate again, went back to sleep. A pretty lazy Christmas, but then again what else is it supposed to be? :D

So that's my gift stash...what did you guys do today? :)
